खोखले से इस शेहेर में
हैं सब सिले हुए से चेहरे
नींद बुझे बुझे से हैं पलकों पर
आंसू आये भी तो कैसे
एक पल की थी वो खामोशी
ठहर सी गयी है जैसे
मांगे हुए से पलकों पर जैसे
पराये से हैं सारे सपने
आज़मा लिए सारे
वो गिने चुने से वादे तेरे
खोखली सी आँखों में अब
आंसू आये भी तो कैसे...
Khokhle se iss shahar mein
Hain sab siley huye se chehre
Neend bujhe bujhe se hain palkon par
Aansu aaye bhi to kaise
Ek pal ki thi wo khaamoshi
Thahar si gayi hai jaise
Maange huye palkon par jaise
Paraaye se hain saare sapney
Aazma liye saarey
Wo gine chune waadey terey
Khokhli si aankhon mein ab
Aansu aaye bhi to kaisey…
